Kiddie ties and Donuts

We will attend a formal event next month so we went to the mall last Sunday to look for some formal dresses for the kids. I was able to get one for my boy, I also added a necktie for him that I found at the kids ties section. I just can't resist the very classic design fit for little boys. After shopping some formal clothes for the boy, we decided to take a break and eat some donuts. Our family enjoys donuts so much that I actually think its our comfort food. I got the Chocolate Kreme cake while my husband enjoyed the cheesecake donut. Of course, the kids enjoyed the Cookies and Cream made from Oreo!

Insurance again

Have you found the perfect term life insurance for you? Well, I happened to find one already last month, but my agent moved to another country so I had to get in touch with other agents in their company. I am still adjusting with my new agent but i can say that he is equally good. I hope to finish all our files and a final meeting too so we can finalize everything this month. Our car insurance needs renewal too so that's one thing I need to fix by next month. I wonder why these expenses are coming up now that we have a pre schooler in the house. This means one thing for me, stop shopping and start saving.

Prosperity Fruits

These are the prosperity fruits that I bought 2 nights before the Chinese New Year. I hanged it at our entrance door the night before the CNY. Well, I hope it will bring prosperity in our life this 2010.

Barcode scanners

While waiting for our take out orders last night at Savory Restaurant, I decided to check out some office supplies that I will be needing in the setup of my home office. Well, it's just a small space for me where I can work and arrange some of my files. In a little as 10 minutes , I got myself some colored enveloped that is good for color coding some files, then I got some nice pens on sale. However when I was paying already, i noticed there was an error with the bar code stickers that were placed at my items , so when they had it scanned at the it is the Symbol LS2208 model of their bar code scanner , the discounts were not reflected. Good thing it was fixed in no time. I was able to go back to the restaurant after a little shopping and get my take out orders. talk about some simple multi- tasking while at the mall.

Ice Cream Sunday

My little boy definitely has distinct taste when it comes to ice cream. He asked if we can have ice cream for snacks last Sunday at the mall. The dad said yes because its his favorite too. In no time, I saw ourselves looking for a spot over those contemporary coffee tables lined up. We chose Al Fresco dining as we enjoyed our ice cream from Haagen Dazs. I just love the furniture at the rstaurant, its not too formal but you know that the items are of great quality, the tables, the chairs and even some lamps. I wasn't able to capture a lot of photos because I got hooked witht he ice cream as soon as it was served.

toy for my little boy

My boy will celebrate his 4th birthday next month and I asked him last week what does he like for a gift. He said he wants some toy figurines of The Incredibles. Its a little hard to find because The incredibles are not popular characters now that the movie is over. Well, I am glad for websites that has a vast number of toys available. I didn't had a hard time looking for one, and guess what, I even got it as such a cheap price. So I even decided to buy him some Disney cars Items, another favorite collection of my boy. I think his love for this collectible type of toys will grow until his 20's. He certainly enjoys collecting and the best part is he knows how to take care of it. I hope he will enjoy my gift for him this year.

in HEAT?

This early, I am planning on where to eat for my birthday come May. I want it to be really special because for quite some time, I will spend my birthday with my younger sister. I am thinking of some great dinner buffet in the metro namely, Spiral at Sofitel, Circles at Makati ShangriLa or Heat at Edsa ShangriLa . Any suggestions? Well, i haven't tried Spiral yet amongst the three so I am thinking if it will be a wise choice. I heard great reviews from friends. Better save up now since I know it will eat up a big chunk in my budget:)

My dream Recreational Vehicle

Who wouldn't want to have his own Recreational Vehicle (RV) someday ? It has always been a dream for me because my family and I loves to travel once in a while and we want the best in comfort especially during long drive trips. We don't have a budget for it , even in the years to come, but I still look at some RV's when I am not busy with anything. My husband asked me to look at motorhome too. It's not bad at all to dream with one thing right? Who knows, maybe in the future we will have our own RV, and I don't care much if it is second hand as long as it is well maintained and in very good condition.

Banapple yum

My friends and I feasted on this yummy Banapple cake last week while talking about
auto insurance quotes . We were on a get together and sorry, I forgot who brought this cake hahaha. It was sooo yummy, its a mixture of sliced bananas, caramel, chocolate and the base is like crushed grahams. It's one of my favorite at Starbucks but this one from Banapple is yummy too. We almost finished the cake while talking non-stop about car insurance quotes. Don't you just love great talk, great food with your best friends? Its one of my most treasured moments in life.

Ube Pao

Siopao is one Chinese food that me and my husband loves to enjoy for snacks. This certain Ube Pao from Eng Bee Tin Binondo has a roast beef filling. They have other flavors like Bola Bola and Asado. This is one of my favorite and i can eat two in one seating since it is of regular size only.

I see to it that we have Siopao once every two weeks, so while I was looking for the best natural acne treatment product in Chinatown last Sunday, I dropped by Eng Bee Tin to get our siopao fix. Ohh its so yummy especially with its sauce. Next time I will try the spicy one and lets see if I can stand the spicy flavor.

Fried Pigeon

Last Friday, I went out of the house a little early than expected because I have to run a few errands. I first went to a dermatologist clinic and asked them more about nodular acne treatment that my cousin needs to undergo. I am looking for a really good derma house in our area. Next stop was at Chinatown for my lucky charms and amulets for the year of the metal tiger. I was able to buy some stuff for my friends and even lucky coins. After the quick shopping, my husband and I decided to eat at the newly renovated President's Restaurant that serves really yummy Chinese food. For the first time, he ordered Fried Pigeon and i was surprise that my little boy love it to bits. I didn't tried it though but they both said that it is very yummy.

It worked!

Okay, three of my friends already noticed that I look slimmer now than before. Such music to my ears! I guess discipline is really a key factor when trying to lose weight. I cut down my rice intake, limit my junk food and go on a cardio exercise almost everyday. I won't be needing those weight loss products now. But I am not closing my doors yet, who knows , i might soon try it out if I will not get my desired weight. Its just so hard to resist yummy food, right? But still, I am grateful that my efforts paid off, somehow. I still have a month, i can do it!
